Willie Mays Autographed 8x10 Photo of his infamous defensive play which has been come to be known as "The Catch". On September 29, 1954 in the first game of the 1954 World Series between the New York Giants and the Cleveland Indians at the Polo Grounds in New York, Mays ran from short center field to the warning track and make a spectacular (some might say "miraculous") on the run, over the shoulder catch of Vic Wertz approximately 420 foot drive. The play kept the score tied and allowed the Giants to go on and win the game in extra innings, and eventually sweep the series from Cleveland. Signed in blue across the front of the photo.
